Process

The history of Christianity in Wales is complex and, in its early days, full of legend.  This plan helps organisations and communities understand the complexity of the stories and describes some of the key characters and places that bring the stories alive.  We worked in consortium with Touchstone Heritage Management Consultants and Creu-ad and with experts from Bangor University and the University of Wales / Trinity St David, and provided themes, storylines and recommendations for interpretive media and other approaches.

Benefits

• Organisations wishing to bid for funding from Cadw to produce interpretation on early Christianity in Wales have guidance on some of the people and places that help tell the stories.

• The plan provides sample cluster packages that give structure to interpretive approaches.

• The plan will help potential providers of interpretation to seek funding.
