Process

The period of Welsh history that encompasses the Princes of Deheubarth and the later invasion of the Norman Lords of the Southern March is a complex web of shifting power and political allegiance.  These two plans identify the main stories and present a series of schemes to bring them alive through interpretation.  Advised by experts in these periods, we consulted widely with historians and local organisations to seek a series of stories that are both informative and entertaining.

Benefits

• Organisations wishing to bid for funding from Cadw to produce interpretation on the Princes of Deheubarth and the Lords of the Southern March have guidance on some of the people and places that help tell the stories.

• The plan provides sample cluster packages that helps to give structure to interpretive approaches.

• The plan will help potential providers of interpretation to seek funding.
