Task
To create a curriculum-linked learning resource which would enable primary schools to safely access the wilderness that is Marsden Moor.
Process
The Resource Pack was produced in a web-based form which is also available on CD, and comprises background resources, downloadable activities, images, maps, a coach tour route with activities and audio files. The latter contain interviews with local people who work and live on the moor, whose stories ‘bring alive’ the moor’s history and uses.
Benefits

The resource is easily accessible to local schools via the National Trust website.

The resource can be used on-site by schools who wish to visit, or elements can be extracted and used in the classroom.
