Task

To develop text for Natural England’s guidance document on reviewing AONB management plans (publication CA221), required under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act (2000). We worked in partnership with Europarc Consulting ».

Process

We consulted with all English AONBs, the National Association of AONBs and other organisations, and ran seminars to gather observations on the preparation of the first round of plans. We also reviewed current plans to assess structures and content. We produced text which was subsequently published as Natural England’s guidance document.
